ERP Development Company for Saudi Arabia: Custom ERP for Riyadh

CodeStan builds custom and Odoo-based ERP systems for Saudi companies in Riyadh, Jeddah and across the Kingdom, from our development team in Egypt. Our ERPs cover finance, VAT, inventory, purchasing, sales, HR and payroll, are Arabic-first, and are built ready for ZATCA Phase 2 e-invoicing integration. A focused system typically takes 8–12 weeks; a multi-branch ERP 4–8 months. Start with a free consultation or WhatsApp.

Saudi companies usually come to us at a turning point: ZATCA e-invoicing has reached their wave, a new branch opened in Jeddah or Dammam, or the finance team is reconciling VAT returns by hand every quarter. Off-the-shelf systems often cover the tax invoice but not the way the business actually runs, such as contract-based projects, rental fleets, multi-warehouse distribution or approval chains that match the company's delegation of authority.

We serve the Saudi market remotely from our team in Sheikh Zayed, Egypt, on the same clock as Riyadh in summer and one hour behind in winter, so the working day overlaps almost fully. Discovery happens over video calls with each department, questions are answered on WhatsApp, and you review progress on a private staging link at any time. You approve a clickable prototype before development starts and see a working demo every week, so nothing reaches go-live without your finance and operations managers signing off.

What a Saudi-ready ERP includes

ZATCA e-invoicing (Fatoora) readiness

Standard and simplified tax invoices, credit and debit notes in the required XML format with QR code, prepared for onboarding and integration with the ZATCA platform in Phase 2.

VAT accounting at 15%

VAT on every sales and purchase line, zero-rated and exempt items, input and output tax accounts, and reports that support the VAT return your accountant files.

Finance with Saudi reporting needs

General ledger, cost centres, receivables ageing, bank reconciliation and financial statements, with Arabic and English account names.

Inventory, purchasing and distribution

Multi-warehouse stock across cities, purchase approvals, goods receipt, van sales and transfers between Riyadh, Jeddah and other branches.

HR, payroll and Saudization view

Employee files for Saudis and expatriates, Iqama and contract expiry alerts, allowances, payroll runs and exports prepared for Mudad, GOSI and WPS where files or APIs are available.

Hijri and Gregorian dates

Dates shown in both calendars where your team needs them, for contracts, residency renewals and HR letters, while accounting periods stay consistent.

Sales, CRM and POS

Quotations, contracts, sales orders, price lists, customer statements and a POS screen for showrooms or retail branches, issuing compliant simplified invoices.

Approvals, permissions and dashboards

Approval chains that follow your delegation of authority, permissions per branch and role, and management dashboards for cash, sales and stock.

Arabic-first screens for daily work and approvals as a clickable prototype on a private staging link, tested by your team before any code.

  4. Development

Technology we use for Saudi ERP projects

  • Odoo
  • Python
  • Laravel
  • PHP
  • PostgreSQL
  • MySQL
  • Redis
  • React
  • Flutter
  • Docker
  • Kubernetes
  • Terraform

Odoo with Python suits companies that want a proven base configured for Saudi VAT. Fully custom ERPs run on Laravel with PostgreSQL or MySQL, which keeps code readable and the system yours. Docker, Kubernetes and Terraform let us deploy the same setup on a cloud region or data centre inside the Kingdom when data residency matters, and Flutter covers mobile apps for sales reps and drivers.

Built for Saudi regulations and working norms

ZATCA e-invoicing applies to VAT-registered businesses in two phases: generation of electronic invoices, then integration with the ZATCA platform, which is being rolled out to taxpayers in waves. In the integration phase, standard B2B invoices are cleared by ZATCA before they reach the buyer, and simplified B2C invoices are reported shortly after issue. We build ERPs that generate the required XML, cryptographic stamp and QR code, and we test against the ZATCA sandbox before onboarding. Your tax advisor confirms which wave and rules apply to you.

Saudi personal data is governed by the Personal Data Protection Law (PDPL), supervised by SDAIA, which places conditions on transferring personal data outside the Kingdom. For that reason we offer hosting on a cloud provider region or data centre inside Saudi Arabia, or on your own servers, and we design access logs and limited exports from day one. HR modules handle Saudi and expatriate staff side by side, with Hijri and Gregorian dates and an Arabic interface that reads naturally for Saudi users.

Why Saudi companies work with CodeStan

Almost the same working day

Our team in Egypt is at most one hour behind Riyadh, so meetings, WhatsApp replies and urgent fixes happen during your business hours.

Approve before you pay for the build

A clickable prototype on a private staging link is reviewed by your managers before development starts, then you see weekly demos.

Arabic-first ERP, not a translation

Screens, invoices and reports are designed in Arabic with full RTL first, with English alongside for expatriate staff and partners.

Your hosting, your code

We deploy where your data residency needs require, in your own accounts, and hand over the source code and admin access.

Frequently asked questions

Is your ERP compliant with ZATCA e-invoicing Phase 2?

Our ERPs are built ready for ZATCA Phase 2 integration: they produce invoices in the required XML format with QR code and cryptographic stamp, support clearance and reporting flows, and are tested on the ZATCA sandbox. Final onboarding is done with your team using your ZATCA account, and your tax advisor confirms your wave date and any rules specific to your activity.

Do you have an office in Saudi Arabia?

No. We serve Saudi clients remotely from our team in Sheikh Zayed, Egypt. Workshops run over video calls, day-to-day questions go through WhatsApp, and you can open the staging environment at any time to see progress. Because Egypt is at most one hour behind Riyadh, our working hours overlap with yours almost completely. An on-site visit can be arranged when the project needs it.

Can the ERP be hosted inside Saudi Arabia?

Yes. If PDPL or your own policy requires data to stay in the Kingdom, we deploy on a cloud provider region or data centre inside Saudi Arabia, or on your company servers. We set up backups, monitoring and access control there, and the accounts remain in your company name.

Does the ERP handle payroll, GOSI and Mudad?

The HR module manages Saudi and expatriate employees, allowances, deductions and payroll runs, and prepares the files or data your team submits to Mudad, GOSI and the wage protection system. Where an official API is available to your company, we can connect it directly; otherwise we produce export files in the required layout.

Can it show Hijri and Gregorian dates?

Yes. Users can see dates in both calendars where it matters, such as contracts, Iqama expiry, leave and HR letters. Accounting periods, VAT returns and reports stay on one consistent calendar so the numbers always reconcile.

What affects the cost of an ERP in Saudi Arabia?

The main drivers are the number of modules and branches, how custom your processes are, ZATCA and payroll integrations, data migration, and the hosting option you choose. We do not publish fixed prices; we quote per project after a short discovery call and can deliver in phases, starting with the modules that affect compliance and cash first.

We already have an ERP. Can you only add ZATCA integration?

Often, yes. If your current system is custom and we can access its code or database, we can add an e-invoicing layer that generates compliant invoices and connects to ZATCA. For packaged systems, we first check what the vendor supports. We review this in discovery before you commit.

What support do we get after go-live?

Support runs under an agreed SLA with monitoring, backups and fixes, and we update the system when ZATCA publishes changes to technical requirements. We also review usage with your team and plan the next phase, such as manufacturing, projects or a mobile app.
