The Challenge

Standing Out in a Commoditized Gourmet Market

Graudupes had exceptional products — single-origin teas, small-batch coffees, raw Latvian honey — but their existing online store looked like every other Shopify template in the natural foods space. Products were buried in generic category grids. There was no storytelling around provenance, no way to discover related products, and the mobile experience was so frustrating that 71% of mobile visitors abandoned before adding anything to cart. The brand needed a digital experience as carefully curated as their product selection.

Designing a Digital Pantry Worth Exploring

We reimagined Graudupes as a discovery-first shopping experience. Every interaction was designed to feel like browsing a high-end deli — tactile, inviting, and full of pleasant surprises. The visual language emphasizes natural textures, warm earth tones, and generous white space that lets the products breathe.

Designed an editorial homepage with hero collections, seasonal features, and staff-pick stories instead of a standard category grid

Created immersive product pages with origin maps, producer profiles, tasting notes, and pairing suggestions

Built a "Build Your Gift Set" tool allowing customers to curate custom boxes with real-time pricing and packaging previews

Redesigned mobile navigation with thumb-friendly filters, sticky cart, and one-page checkout with Apple Pay and Google Pay
